The role of Ofcom is similar to www.Offtel.gov.uk but you can see a bit of the difference. There are number of new roles and services that are now performed by Ofcom. Actually, Ofcom is an independent organization established to regular telecommunications, wireless communications and broadcasting sector. It doesn´t only set charges for landline and mobile phone but for broadband as well. Its basic motive is to help people getting more products at competitive rates.
